Those who know Farrell Lemings describe his passionate love for God, evidenced by humility and a resolute focus to honor Him while serving others and leading effectively. As a result, his life and ministry are marked by compelling vision, dialed-in focus, and seemingly perpetual motion.
Farrell is a former Grace Covenant Church associate pastor who returned in 1995 from Texas following a 2½-year pastoral appointment. At the time, an average of 300 people participated in two morning worship services. Today, he is blessed to serve as Lead Pastor of a congregation with more than 2,400 in average weekly worship attendance and a broader church family of 4,000 or more.
Embracing the responsibility that comes with leadership is a driving force in his life. As a result, God has called Farrell to be a servant-leader of leaders. It is his passion to see God's Kingdom extended through interdenominational partnerships.
An Arkansas native, Farrell holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from Life Bible College East. He and his wife Sharlot have a son, Caleb, and a daughter, Grace. While free time is limited, he enjoys outdoor sports.
