Grace Women

Grace Women are committed to help women learn, grow, serve and love others continually, resulting in true transformation of ourselves, our families, and our world. We strive to be “real” in our relationships and gatherings, allowing God to do an ongoing work of transformation within each of us.

God has a special plan for all women, and no one's excluded! We invite you to join us and embark on a great journey of discovering who we are in Christ, His plans and purposes for our lives, and how to live in effective relationship with Him.

Evening Gatherings

Our evening gatherings teach, inspire, encourage, and empower women in their faith so they can share God's love in the home, workplace, church and community.

We meet the first Tuesday of each month from February–May and from September–December at 6:30pm. We enjoy a small meal, listen to an amazing speaker, build friendships, and enjoy worship together. Free childcare for ages birth–5th grade is available each month.

Wednesday Women's Bible Study

The Wednesday Women's Bible Studies are offered from 7–8:15pm at the Cornelius campus. Childcare is available.

This term there are TWO options:

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzero
facilitated by Betsy Dobrotka
Wednesday, Jan 9 - March 13, 2019

Can Christians grow spiritually while remaining emotionally immature? Peter Scazzero believes the answer is no - our souls and psyches are inextricably linked. We will learn to identify emotionally unhealthy spirituality, grow through grief and loss, and more. Scazzero also shares seasoned advice on how to slow down and develop a truly transformational relationship with Christ. Wednesday Women's Bible Study is a great place to fellowship and make new friends as we grow together in the Lord.

It Wasn't Supposed to Be This Way by Lisa TerKeurst
facilitated by Angela Buchanan
Wednesday, Jan 9 - Feb 20

Reality often ends up so very far from the life we long for or expected, doesn't it? Bible teach Lysa TerKeurst deeply understands daily disappointments and life-altering loss. In this class you will find fresh biblical insight to get you through painful situations, and live-giving perspectives for living in between Eden and eternity.

Grace Women - East Lincoln

There are three study options for women to participate in during the Winter session at our East Lincoln Campus. All studies take place on Wednesday mornings from 10–11:30am at our East Lincoln campus. Childcare is available.

The options include:

Grace Women: The Soul Care Journey
led by Cammie Wilson
January 9-March 6
3rd - 5th grade room

We live in a world that is pulling at us from every direction, making it all too easy to neglect ourselves, especially our souls. In this interactive class, as we explore and grow in our relationship with ourselves, others and God, we will discover what makes up our soul and how to care for it. In doing so we will find great freedom from shame, insecurity and lack of direction. Equipped with this new security and confidence we will be able to fully live out the purposes God has created us for.

Grace Women: Galatians
led by Carol McCall
January 9-March 6
K-2nd grade room

The Christians in Galatia were listening to people who told them their salvation depended on faith and works.  The Holy Spirit used Paul to correct this false teaching and reveal that salvation is by faith. Together, as we embrace this truth, we will learn how to respond to God’s precious gift of grace. Through our study of Galatians, we will discover the treasures it reveals, including what it means to be justified by faith.  Classes will include small group discussion.

Grace Women: How to Worship the King
led by Marie Edwards
March 13-May 8 (no class on April 24 due to Easter Break)
3rd - 5th grade room

Discover the power and beauty of true worship, beyond any song or melody.  Worship has been given to change your relationship with God and affect the way you live.  The more you seek Him, the more you find Him and from the abundance of the heart you will worship!  Join us for this journey of revelation and understanding.
