Baptism Orientation Class - Cornelius
Sunday, March 15 - adult class @ 11am, room 209/210
Same day - children's class @ 9:15am, room 236
Actual baptism: Sunday, March 29 @ 9:15am & 11am
The significance of water baptism is that it symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our identification with Him. It is not required for salvation but is an act of obedience and a public sign of what Christ has done inwardly in your life. An orientation class is required for all baptism candidates and these are held periodically on Sunday mornings. Adult and children's orientation class are held separately on the same day. The children's class is taught by Pastor Danielle Christy and is at 9:15am and the adult class is at 11am and taught by elder Tim Schwiebert. Children must be at least 8 years old to be water baptized. Email Betsy Dobrotka with any questions or concerns.
