Baptism Orientation Class - Cornelius
Sunday, August 15 - adult class @ 11:00am, Fireside Room
Same day/different time - children's class is at 9:15am
Room 236 (next to Kindergarten classroom)
Actual baptism: Sunday, August 29 @ 9:15am and 11am
The significance of water baptism is that it symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our identification with Him. It is not required for salvation but is an act of obedience and a public sign of what Christ has done inwardly in your life. An orientation class is required for all baptism candidates and these are held 2 weeks before the actual baptism on Sunday mornings. Adult and children's orientation class are held separately on the same day. The children's class is taught by Pastor Danielle Christy at 9:15am, the same day but different time as the adult class (11am) which is taught by elder Tim Schwiebert. Children must be at least 8 years old to be water baptized. Email email@example.com with any questions or concerns.

Help! I Want to Share My Faith!
August 1, 8, and 15
9:15am - 10:30am in room 220
Taught by Michelle Hoverson
All of us want to be more confident in sharing our faith with others, however, we are unsure of how to in our ever-shifting culture. Jesus called all his followers, to make disciples and the first step in that journey is introducing someone to Jesus. When he shared important messages, Jesus, the master story-teller, used parables which are stories with a purpose. During these three sessions you will become an equipped story-teller. Whether you realize it or not, you have a story that intersects with Jesus' story. One never knows when a door of opportunity will open to share your faith. Come and learn how to tell His story and Your story comfortably and with confidence.
