If you were in prison because of your faith, what would be the content of a letter you sent to a friend? Where would your focus be - on what you are experiencing (living conditions, treatment by the guards, etc.) or would you write a letter to encourage your reader, to count it all joy, encouraging her to rejoice in the midst of her pain and suffering? Would you point your reader to her relationship with the Lord and to a believer's eternal hope or would your focus be on you and your circumstances? Paul shares with us in the book of Philippians that there will be suffering, but then gives us the keys to be independent of circumstances and full of joy. Materials Needed: BibleGroup Details

Spiritual Growth Plan - taught by Pastor Farrell
Wednesday, January 8, 2020
7:00pm - 8:15pm in the Sanctuary
The secret to your success is found in your daily routines. It is discipline not desire that determines your destiny. A Spiritual Growth Plan is simply a tool to aid in pursuit of God and your personal growth and development. The reality is that we seldom live up to our God-given potential, simply because we are not intentional in the process. The Spiritual Growth Plan describes what we are going to do and is a tool to hold us accountable in the process. Start the beginning of 2020 with God-given goals and plans, and be encouraged as Pastor Farrell shows how you can reach them. For more information please email email@example.com
Freedom In Christ Discipleship Course - Wtr/Spr 2020
Victory Over the Darkness - starts Monday, Jan. 20 (intro class)
6:45-8:15pm in room 221

Deep within the heart of every believer is a hunger and thirst to be radically right with God. The truth is…we will behave what we believe. Victory Over the Darkness is a 12 week study that spells out practical and productive ways to experience Christian growth based on Christ's promise…the promise to live triumphantly. We will study our identity in Christ, how to live by faith, walk by the Spirit, renew our mind, and manage our emotions to resolve traumas from the past. Bondage Breaker is a 2nd course taken after you complete VOTD. In order to get the most out of this course, regular attendance is encouraged.
