Baptism Orientation Class - Cornelius
Sunday, May 16 - adult class @ 11:00am, room 221
Same day/different time - children's class is at 9:15am
Room 236 (next to Kindergarten classroom)
Actual baptism: Sunday, May 30 @ 9:15am and 11am
The significance of water baptism is that it symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and our identification with Him. It is not required for salvation but is an act of obedience and a public sign of what Christ has done inwardly in your life. An orientation class is required for all baptism candidates and these are held 2 weeks before the actual baptism on Sunday mornings. Adult and children's orientation class are held separately on the same day. The children's class is taught by Pastor Danielle Christy and is at 9:15am, the same day but different time as the adult class (11am) which is taught by elder Tim Schwiebert. Children must be at least 8 years old to be water baptized. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns.

Every serious believer longs to summon up the kind of boldness and faith that can stand firm on Mount Carmel and pray down heaven into impossible situations. Yet few are willing to go through the process required to get them there. Strength of faith, character, and boldness can only be shaped in the hidden fires of silence, sameness, solitude, and adversity. In this study, you will discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in you life right now.

Do you feel you have adequate knowledge to protect your children from a culture and society that can take advantage of their innocence and vulnerability? Technology provides the means for our children to access the world. On our Grace Parents Night Pastor Scott will be equipping parents on how to safeguard their children when they are using mobile devices and the internet. You will get to know some other parents on the same journey and leave with a little more confidence. For more information, please contact Scott Raney - email@example.com
