Types of groups offered at Grace

Life Group

Life groups bring people together to build relationships, grow spiritually, and share experiences through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service projects. They create a supportive, encouraging environment, usually meeting in homes or occasionally at church. Life groups follow the school calendar.

Study Group

A study group provides a space to discuss, learn, and reflect on God's Word, and gain spiritual growth. Study groups can also focus on specific topics, such as finances or marriage, exploring how biblical principles apply to these areas of life. These groups have set start and end dates, typically meet on Sundays and Wednesdays, and provide structured, meaningful discussions on Scripture or a curriculum.

Support Group

A support group is a gathering of individuals sharing similar experiences or struggles, offering a space for emotional and practical support, and fostering spiritual growth within a framework of Christian teaching and community.

Common Interest Group

A common interest group is a small group of people who gather around shared interests or passions, fostering fellowship, relationship-building, and often spiritual growth.

Serving Group

A group of individuals who dedicate their time and talents to fulfilling specific roles or ministries within the church, contributing to its operations, events, and outreach, guided by a heart for service and following the lead of their pastors and/or leaders.

NEXT Steps

refers to intentional actions individuals can take to deepen their faith, engage in ministry, and grow in their spiritual journey. Next Steps encourages individuals to move beyond mere attendance and actively participate in their faith journey. Examples of this would be water baptism, small group involvement, ministry opportunities, Bible study, and prayer.
