Our Local Mission
"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." -Colossians 3:12
Every Christ-follower has a unique calling in carrying Christ’s Great Commission (1 Peter 4:10). Therefore, our desire is to see Grace Covenant congregants engage the community in which they live to manifest the love and life of Jesus. While we can join in various ways to share Christ’s compassion and message, at times, it is more effective to come alongside and strengthen others who are already at work in our community.
In this season in the life of Grace Covenant, we believe God is calling us to engage in the power of partnership. We believe Grace Covenant is to carry out the mission and ministry of Jesus locally by focusing on the following areas of community need:
As we strive to fulfill our mission, we will establish ministry partnerships with organizations that have a proven track record. Below are our current ministry partners and information on how to get involved.

Serve Hispanic Immigrant Community
One of the four pillars of our Compassion Ministry strategy is to serve an immigrant group. We are launching a ministry opportunity to facilitate outreaches and serve the Hispanic/Latino community. As we provide periodic outreaches, we will provide services in five key areas of need: immigration process, labor opportunities, housing opportunities, ESL training program, and health services. These outreaches will also include evangelism opportunities.

Hope House
The Hope House Foundation provides transitional housing and supportive services to women and children who are experiencing situational homelessness. Grace Covenant is excited to partner with The Hope House Foundation to help them walk out their mission: "We open doors and welcome home women who need help making transformative life changes as as they get back on their feet. We teach them how to stand up and not stand in a line. Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for social change to end homelessness in the Huntersville, North Carolina area by providing supportive services to families as they transform their lives and work towards self-sufficiency."
